The 38th State Taekwondo Championship kicked off in Guwahati on Friday at the DTRP indoor hall, Nehru Stadium.
The tournament is scheduled to continue until June 20, with a total of 38 districts participating and over 1200 participants involved.
Birinchi Saikia, the Technical Director of the All Assam Taekwondo Association, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "This presents an exciting opportunity for all the participants as they will have the chance to represent Assam at the national level."
