Around 500 socio-political intellectuals have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding him to break his silence and take concrete initiatives for peace and order in Manipur. In the letter, he demanded the Prime Minister to break his silence and take responsibility for the situation in Manipur. It also called for an immediate halt to the violence as it is causing loss of lives, livelihoods and property. Panic is spreading among the people.
