Boris Johnson resigns as MP

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has resigned from Parliament.  He has shocked the whole country with his decision.  In fact, a parliamentary committee recently said parties were being held in Downing Street during the lockdown, clearly in breach of the lockdown, but Johnson had misled parliament in this regard, he House of  Keep telling the Commons (Parliament) that the lockdown is being followed.  In this case they will be punished.
 A parliamentary committee is investigating whether Boris Johnson, 58, misled the House of Commons about parties breaching the lockdown in Downing Street during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Johnson's resignation comes after he received a confidential letter from the MP-led Privileges Committee on the important matter.
 Johnson accused the Commons of trying to get me out.  In a statement, Boris said he had not produced a shred of evidence to prove that he had deliberately or recklessly misled the Commons .
