Delhi Excise Policy Case: Manish Sisodia gets some relief from High Court

The High Court on Friday (June 2) granted relief to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in a money laundering case related to Delhi's excise policy.  The court granted Sisodia relief from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday (June 3) and said he can meet his wife during this period.  The court also reserved the verdict on interim bail.

 The High Court stipulated that Sisodia would not speak to the media during the meeting.  They are only allowed to talk to their family.  The court also said they would not be able to use mobile phones and the internet.  The court asked Sisodia to submit his wife's medical report by Saturday evening and also he can meet her in police custody.  Sisodia had sought bail citing his wife's health.
