22 people arrested in Manipur during Home Minister's visit

The situation continues to be tense.  Manipur, which has been on fire since May 3, has not yet returned to peace despite various steps taken to restore peace.
 Home Minister Amit Shah is on a four-day visit to Manipur.  Amit Shah's visit to the state continues to be tense.  The Army police arrested several suspects in several areas near Imphal today.
 According to army sources, 22 suspects were arrested during the day.
  They recovered a large amount of weapons from them.  The weapons seized included five 12-barrel bore double rifles, three single barrel rifles and handmade weapons.  The army has handed over the suspects to the Manipur police.
