Saamana On New Parliament Inauguration: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bal Thackeray) raised the issue of inauguration of the new Parliament building through its editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana and once again attacked the BJP including the Prime Minister.  The article said the new Parliament building is being inaugurated today.  This is not in line with belief and tradition and such a takeover of Parliament is deadly to democracy.
Our country is constantly struggling day and night to save democracy.  The editorial echoed the words of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.  The article questioned that a new Parliament House has been erected in Delhi.  Did he really need it?  The Samaana editorial described the new Parliament House as unnecessary.  Targeting the Prime Minister, it said that dictatorship thrives on the restriction of ideas and centralization of power.  It was alleged that although the new Parliament House was ready, there was an atmosphere of fear in both the Houses of the country for the last eight years.
"The new Parliament House is being inaugurated today bypassing President Draupadi Murmu," Samaana added.  This is not in accordance with belief and tradition.  The President is the head of the country and the Parliament.  Such a takeover of Parliament is deadly for democracy.  Almost all political parties except the BJP have waged war on it.
"According to tradition, President Draupadi Murmu should inaugurate the new Parliament. Rahul Gandhi was the first to demand this and almost all the opposition parties accepted it," the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bal Thackeray) said in its cover letter.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the new building of Parliament.  This is not in line with the beliefs and traditions of democracy.  The President was not even given a simple invitation, so 20 political parties in the country, including the Congress, boycotted the opening ceremony of Parliament.
"Regardless of the opposition's boycott, Prime Minister Modi will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of Parliament and the audience he has gathered will applaud there," he wrote, attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  This is the biggest threat to democracy.  No invitation to the President of the country to the opening of Parliament, no to the leaders of the Opposition.  Everything ‘I’ means Modi.  This is ego.  “It is an insult to the highest constitutional office of the country not to inaugurate Parliament by the President and not to invite him to the ceremony.  ‘Parliament is not made of bricks of ego, but of constitutional values,’ said Shri Rahul Gandhi.
