National desk:
Sachin Pilot on 2000 Rupee Note: The Opposition has been attacking the government ever since the RBI announced the withdrawal of the Rs 2,000 note.  Now, former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has raised questions.  He responded by saying that the country's economy is being shaken.  Also Sachin Pilot questioned on what rationale the Reserve Bank has withheld these notes?  What is the reason for this?
“When the ban was imposed, it was said that black money would be eliminated and money would come back from abroad but it did not happen.  Now suddenly the information came that Rs 2,000 notes are being discontinued but what is the basis for this?  What was its goal when it was brought in and what is its goal when it is being shut down?  Because it's not right to hurt people unnecessarily.'
Targeting the government, Pilot said, “The government is still following the path of the steps it took without thinking.
