The Congress victory in Karnataka is being celebrated as far as Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also in Shimla. Priyanka Gandhi arrived at the Himachal Congress office in Shimla to celebrate with the workers.
Talking to media persons, she said that the people of Karnataka have proved that the country will now have a politics of problem solving. She said the Congress fought on the issues of the people in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka and won. Priyanka Gandhi said that the issues of the people are unemployment, inflation and corruption. The people have proved that there will be no more distraction politics. Priyanka Gandhi said that Karnataka has overthrown a corrupt government.
