'In the Lap of the Mountain' directed by Adhiraj Kashyap was screened at the International Short Film Festival in Germany. The film, directed by Adhiraj Kashyap, tells the story of how casteism is entrenched in a tribal village in Maharashtra and how its inhabitants preserve their heritage. Adhiraj Kashyap's short film 'In the Lap of the Mountain' was screened at the International Short Film Festival in Germany on April 29. The festival started on April 26 and ended on May 1 .
Adhiraj had earlier made a documentary titled 'Broken Spectre' in The documentary presented the work of Pavitra Rava's team of artists called 'Dapon the Mirror'. The documentary also attracted a lot of attention and won several awards at the national and international levels.
Apart from directing films, Adhiraj has also studied English and Assamese literature. The short film is directed by Adhiraj and edited by Somprakash Chahu and soundtracked by Sneha Sundar. The success of young director Adhiraj Kashyap has delighted everyone involved in films as well as the people of the state.
