Security forces and militants clashed in Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Five army personnel were killed in the blasts. One of the injured soldiers is undergoing treatment. Some militants are also expected to be killed. Operations are currently underway in the area. Internet service in the district has been shut down for security reasons.The clash took place in the densely forested Kandi area of Rajouri district amid bad weather and continuous rains. The operation is continuing to drive out the militants hiding in the area after the militants ambushed the army personnel in Tota Gali area of Bhata Dhurian in Jammu region.Two soldiers were killed on the spot and four others, including a major, were injured in the encounter. He was rescued by helicopter for treatment. Later, three other soldiers died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Udhampur. A total of five army personnel have been killed in the operation.
