Earthrise: Great picture of Earth taken by Japan's moon lander before it crashes

International desk:
Japanese private company iSpace Inc. was going to land its lander on the moon for the first time, their mission was not successful.  The lander crashed.  The lander was named Hakuto-R lunar lander.
However, before the Hakuto-R moon crashed on April 25, the lander sent some spectacular images of the Earth from the lunar surface.  In this picture, our Earth looks like a blue marble, just above the horizon of the Moon.  This image is reminiscent of the spectacular 'Earthrise' image of Apollo 8.  The picture shows the moon's shadow passing over Australia, where there was a total solar eclipse at the time (April 20).
Hakoto-R was launched from the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in December last year, as part of iSpace's Mission  If the mission had been successful, it would have gone down in history as the first commercial craft to land on the moon, although this did not happen.
