Asad Ahmed Encounter: Atiq Ahmed's convoy was attacked and prepared to rescue Asad, UP police big claim

Atiq Ahmed Son Encounter: After the death of Atiq Ahmed's son Asad Ahmed in the encounter, UP Police (UP Police) has held a press conference and given important information.  ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said the police team had gone to two important places with warrants in connection with the incident.  Two named accused were brought from Sabarmati and Bareilly jails.  There was input that the criminals could be rescued by attacking the convoy on the way.  Special forces and civil police teams were deployed in view of the incident that took place on February24.
   "Some people were intercepted on a tip-off between 12.30 pm and 1 pm today when shots were fired from both sides," ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said.  Our STF team was involved in this operation.  They were identified as Asad son of Atiq Ahmed and Ghulam son of Maksudan.  The entire operation was conducted by an STF team.
