Rishabh Pant: big operation of Rishabh Pant is going to happen

Star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is 'all set to undergo surgery for a ligament injury' that will rule him out of competitive cricket indefinitely, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Wednesday.  BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that Pant has been taken to Mumbai in an air ambulance from a hospital in Dehradun, where he will undergo extensive treatment for knee and ankle ligament injuries.  Pant had suffered injuries in a car accident on 30 December.
The BCCI decided to take Pant to Mumbai by air ambulance as he was not in a position to fly by any commercial airline.  BCCI secretary Jay Shah said, "Rishabh, who is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital, Dehradun after a car accident on December 30, will be flown to Mumbai in an air ambulance." Pant was being treated by renowned sports orthopedic surgeon Dinshaw Pardiwala, as reported earlier by PTI will do.BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said, "He will be admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute and will be treated under the direct supervision of Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, Head of the Center for Sports Medicine and Director of Arthroscopy and Shoulder Service at the hospital."  Rishabh will undergo surgery for a ligament injury and will undergo post-procedures.  The BCCI medical team will take care of him during his recovery and rehabilitation.
