 In a significant step towards enhancing emergency care capabilities, Sanjevani Hospital in Maligaon, Guwahati, on 4th september conducted a comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) training session for its staff nurses and technicians. The training, which is crucial for equipping healthcare professionals with life-saving skills, was led by Dr. Debanga Borah, a respected expert in emergency medicine.

The BLS training focused on critical areas such as recognizing life-threatening emergencies, performing high-quality chest compressions, ensuring effective ventilations, and using Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). According to sources, the session was highly interactive, with a strong emphasis on practical application, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience in emergency response techniques.
Dr. Borah, who spearheaded the training, highlighted the importance of regular BLS training in healthcare settings. "Basic Life Support is an essential skill set for all healthcare providers.
