According to the Income Tax Department, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has paid the highest tax in his state of Jharkhand in the financial year 2022-23. He has paid advance tax of Rs 38 crore this fiscal. Dhoni is the highest taxpayer in Jharkhand for the first time. Earlier, Dhoni had paid the same advance tax in FY 2021-22.
According to several media reports, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's net worth this year is Rs 1030 crore. As for his annual earnings, Dhoni reportedly earns around Rs 4 crore a year. There are very few cricketers whose earnings increase after retirement from international cricket.
