National Desk:
Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck is on a three-day visit to India.  During the visit, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday and discussed various issues.  Meanwhile, it was likely that the Bhutanese king also discussed the Doklam issue in his talks with Prime Minister Modi.
When asked about the matter, External Affairs Secretary Vinay Quatra said India and Bhutan are in touch with each other on security cooperation.  "The visit of the King of Bhutan to India has given us an opportunity to blueprint enhancement of mutual cooperation in various fields," Quatra told the media.
The meeting between Modi and the King of Bhutan discussed bilateral relations including national interest, he said.  The Bhutanese king is on a three-day visit to India from Monday.  His visit comes as India has expressed concern over China's growing dominance over Bhutan.
The concerns come after Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotte Shering's comments on Doklam.  However, Bhutan has been saying that its stance on the border dispute has not changed.
