Manish Sisodia will have to remain in jail, bail plea rejected, will go to High Court

Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, arrested in Delhi's liquor scam, will have to remain in jail for now.  Manish Sisodia filed a bail application in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court.  Manish Sisodia has not got relief from Rouse Avenue Court.  Special Judge (CBI) MK Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court has rejected Manish Sisodia's bail plea.
   Manish Sisodia's bail plea in the money laundering case related to ED will be heard on April 5 in Rouse Avenue Court.  Manish Sisodia will now go to the Delhi High Court after the bail plea is rejected.  Manish Sisodia will now challenge the Rouse Avenue Court's decision to dismiss the bail plea in the Delhi High Court.
   Significantly, Manish Sisodia, who was the Deputy CM of Delhi, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on 26 February.  Manish Sisodia was also questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in jail.  ED had arrested Manish Sisodia from jail itself after interrogation.  ED had also questioned Manish Sisodia on remand.  Manish Sisodia had sought bail in this case by filing a petition in the Rouse Avenue Court.
