Indians dominate the world. From Google to Microsoft, many giants are headed by CEOs of Indian origin. Now another foreign company will follow Bharatvanshi's lead. Rahul Roy Chowdhury is the CEO of Grammarly, a San Francisco-based English writing assistance service. He will take over the reins of the company from May 1, 2023.
Rahul Roy Chowdhury is currently the Global Head of Product at Grammarly. Brad Hoover, the current CEO of Grammarly, shared the information in a blog post. “Now we are at a new turning point with our products and business,” Hoover wrote. Now we need to move fast and massively. New leadership can be helpful in moving forward at this juncture.
“After 12 years at the helm of Grammarly, I am now handing over the baton to Rahul Roy-Chowdhury, Global Head of Product at the company, who will take over as CEO from May 1, 2023,” Hoober continued.
Rahul Roy Chowdhury has been a student of major institutions like Stanford University, Columbia University and Hamilton College. He started his shift at Grammarly in March Prior to joining Grammarly, he held key positions at large companies such as Google and Amazon. He has spent the longest time in his career at Google.
Rahul Roy Chowdhary, who was announced as CEO of Grammarly, had the longest tenure with Google, where he served for 14 years. He was named Vice President of Product Management at the company and left the company in March 2021 while taking over the position. His new stop after Google became Grammarly and he has been working here for the past two years.
