Earthquake: The entire North India was shaken by the strong tremors of the earthquake, the earth trembled with a magnitude of 6.6, panic everywhere

India Earthquake: Earthquake tremors have been felt in entire North India including Delhi-NCR.  The tremors of the earthquake were so strong that people came out of their homes and offices.  Its intensity has been measured more than 5 on the Richter scale.  According to IMD, the intensity of the earthquake was 6.6.  Earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of North India including Delhi-NCR on Tuesday night.  People came out of their homes in panic due to the shaking of the buildings.  The tremors were felt at around 10.20 pm.  Further details in this regard are awaited.
    According to all the reports, tremors of strong earthquake were felt in different parts of northern India as well as in Delhi-NCR.  Tremors were felt in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh.  The National Center for Seismology said that the magnitude of the earthquake is 6.6 and its epicenter is near Faizabad, Afghanistan.  It has been said that the tremors took place at a depth of 156 km.
