Liquor scam: ED team reaches Tihar Jail, interrogating Manish Sisodia

Today, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning Manish Sisodia, arrested in connection with the alleged scam in Delhi's liquor policy.  Manish Sisodia was shifted to Tihar Jail on Monday.  In such a situation, the ED team reached Tihar Jail to record his statement.  Shortly after this, another team of ED reached Tihar Jail with two accused.
  Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on 26 February in connection with the alleged scam in the liquor policy.  After this, he remained in CBI custody for 7 days.  On Monday, the CBI produced him in Rouse Avenue Court.  The CBI had demanded to send Sisodia to judicial custody.  The court sent Sisodia to judicial custody till March 20.
  Earlier, the ED had sought permission to interrogate Manish Sisodia in Tihar by applying to the court.  The court has allowed the ED three days to record Sisodia's statement.
