National Desk:
Bahubali leader Atiq Ahmed has approached the Supreme Court regarding his security.  Atiq Ahmed has filed an application in the Supreme Court saying that he should not be sent out of Gujarat for hearing cases registered in UP.  There is a threat to his safety and life.
Advocate Hanif Khan has filed a petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of Atiq Ahmed.  In the petition, the proposed transfer from Ahmedabad jail to UP jail has been opposed.  It has been said in Atiq's petition that from the statement of some ministers of the UP government, it seems that their fake encounter can be done.  Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi has spoken of mixing the mafia and the accused into the dust.
Atiq's lawyer Hanif Khan has said that he can request an urgent hearing on this petition in the Chief Justice's court on Thursday morning.
In fact, Atiq Ahmed's lawyer has opposed his transfer from Ahmedabad jail to UP jail for the investigation of advocate Umesh Pal murder case.  Days after the sensational daylight murder of a witness to Raju Pal's murder in Uttar Pradesh, the house of a close relative of gangster Atiq Ahmed, who is accused of masterminding the murder, was bulldozed.
Let us tell you that last Friday, the witness of Raju Pal's murder was shot dead outside his house in Prayagraj.  His security guard was also killed in the firing by the five men.  According to the UP police, the conspiracy of the murder was hatched by gangster-turned-politician and former Samajwadi Party leader Atiq Ahmed.
