National Desk:
The Supreme Court has rejected the petition to postpone the NEET-PG exam.  On Monday, the Supreme Court refused to postpone the NEET-PG 2023 exam to be held on March 3 for three months.  The court has rejected the petition of the doctors, after that the exams will be held only on the fixed date.  A bench of Justice S Ravindra Bhat and Justice Dipankar Dutta declined to entertain the petitions filed by the candidates.
Let us tell you that the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBE) has almost completed the NEET 2023 application process and the final and selective edit window was also closed on 20 February.  The candidates demanding the postponement of the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam NEET PG 2023 argued that there is a huge gap between the date of NEET PG exam and the counseling process.  If the exam is postponed even after two months, then the candidates will get additional time to prepare.
According to the NEET PG exam schedule, the admit cards for this exam are going to be issued on 27 February 2023 i.e. today, then the exam will be held on 5th March and the results will come on 19th March.  Not only the High Court, but also the National Medical Commission and the Ministry of Health have refused to postpone the NEET 2023 PG exam.  Apart from this, the government has also refused to postpone the examination in Parliament.  Now after the decision of the Supreme Court, all the speculations about postponing the examination have come to an end.
