Army preparing to buy 200 helicopters, will be manufactured in the country, General Manoj Pandey said plan

Helicopter For Indian Army: Indian Army is planning to buy 200 helicopters.  This will include both utility and combat helicopters.  Army Chief General Manoj Pandey made the announcement during Aero India 2023 on Tuesday.  General Pandey said the Army needs about 110 light utility helicopters and 90 to 95 light combat helicopters.  It will be built by the country's state-owned undertaking, Hindustan Aeronautics.
