Government Scheme- The Central Government has started the Inter-caste marriage promotion scheme to eliminate discrimination from the society and promote inter-caste marriages.  This is good news for those people who want to have an interracial marriage.  The couple getting married under this scheme will be given Rs 2.50 lakh as help from the government.
Only those people who marry from one caste to another can take advantage of this scheme.  If you belong to the general category and you marry in any other community, then in this situation you can take advantage of this scheme.  One of the couple getting married in simple language should be a Dalit and the other should be from outside the Dalit community.
Apart from this, the marriage should be registered under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955.  This should be your first marriage, if this is your second marriage then you cannot take advantage of this scheme.  Also, if you have received any assistance for this marriage under any other scheme of the Central Government or the State Government, then that amount will be reduced from 2.5 lakhs.
