There has been an uproar over Delhi's new liquor policy. After the summons was issued by the CBI, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia appeared in the CBI office for questioning on Monday. There was confusion about this all day. While the CBI was interrogating Manish Sisodia at the headquarters, Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers were protesting and raising slogans outside the CBI office. Politics has also started in this matter. Where CM Arvind Kejriwal targeted BJP in a public meeting in Gujarat, BJP also attacked the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party.
The CBI questioned Sisodia for 9 hours on Monday. After returning from the CBI office, Sisodia said that there is no issue of scam. The whole case is fake. Today, during 9 hours of interrogation, it was understood that how the whole conspiracy has been done. Sisodia said that the case that the CBI has got done against me was actually done in Delhi to make Operation Lotus a success. He said that the BJP is using an agency like CBI to create pressure in an unconstitutional manner. Manish Sisodia said that pressure was made on me to leave AAP. I was told to leave AAP, why be in AAP? Also I was told that what are the true cases against Satyendra Jain, when he can stay in jail for 6 months, then you can also stay in jail.
CBI has denied Manish Sisodia's allegations. In which Sisodia had said that during interrogation he was made to leave the Aam Aadmi Party. CBI said that we deny these allegations. Sisodia has been questioned in a professional and legal manner. Strict inquiry has been conducted only on the basis of the allegations in the FIR and the evidence collected during the investigation. Sisodia's statement will be verified and further action will be taken as per law.
