75 Digital Banking Units: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated 75 Digital Banking Units (DBUs) in 75 districts of the country to the nation as another measure to make financial inclusion more comprehensive.  PM Modi said that how technology has become an integral part of the judicial system today, we have seen it even in the Corona period.
PM Modi said that today the country is again witnessing the potential of Digital India.  Today, 75 digital banking units are landing in 75 districts of the country.  The campaign to make the common human life of India easy is going on in the country.  Digital Banking Units have gone a step further in this direction.
The common man of India has to be empowered, he has to be strengthened, so we have made policies keeping in mind the person standing at the last rung of the society and the whole government has walked on the path of his convenience and progress.  This is such a special banking system, which will work to provide maximum services with minimum digital infrastructure.
PM Modi said that the BJP government has worked on two things simultaneously.  First, the banking system has been reformed, strengthened, transparency has been brought and secondly financial inclusion has been done.  In the general budget of the year 2022-23, 75 DBUs were announced to be established in 75 districts of the country to commemorate the completion of 75 years of the country's independence.  DBU is being established with the aim of taking the benefits of digital banking to every nook and corner of the country.  All these states and union territories will be included.
RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that the RBI is taking progressive steps to improve the availability of digital infrastructure from banking services.  Following the announcement in Budget 2022-23 for setting up of 75 digital banking units, RBI issued guidelines after consulting SSNs of Indian banks, commercial banks and experts.
