Supreme Court disposed of more than 800 cases in a month, 69410 still pending

The process of speedy disposal of pending cases in the Supreme Court has started.   This work has gained momentum after U.U. Lalit became the Chief Justice.  Now if we look at the figures of September, then more than 800 cases have been settled within a month.
According to the information released by the Registry of the Supreme Court, 849 cases have been disposed of in a month.  Usually 13-14 regular benches hear here in total number of 29 judges.  In this way, at the end of August, where the number of pending cases in the Supreme Court was 70,310, which has come down to 69,410 at the end of September.
