Famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala has been murdered in broad daylight.  There was a fierce firing on them in Jawaharke village of Mansa.  Musewala lost his life in the firing and two of his companions were injured.  In Punjab, the AAP government led by CM Bhagwant Mann had reduced the security of Sidhu Musewala on Saturday itself.Musewala earlier had around 8 to 10 gunmen.  Mann Sarkar had left only 2 gunmen with him.  According to initial information, Sidhu Moosewala was going by car with his companions.  The assailants in a black colored car opened fire on them.  Musewala was gunned down only after going about 5 km away from the house.  Musewala himself was driving the Thar vehicle at that time.Sidhu Musewala contested the Punjab Assembly elections from Mansa seat on a Congress ticket against Dr. Vijay Singla of Aam Aadmi Party.  Musewala was defeated and Vijay Singla, who defeated him, became the health minister of the state.  Recently, CM Bhagwant Mann had sacked him from the post on charges of corruption.
