Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Guwahati

 Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has arrived in Guwahati today (Saturday) for today's program.  The Union Minister will pay homage to the war veterans of the 1971 Indo-Pak war by participating in a function organized at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.  This is the first time in the history of Assam that a soldier from Assam has been killed in a battle.  In addition, 8 warriors were to be killed forever.  Governor Jagadish Mukhi and Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Bishwa Sharma will be present on the occasion.
