Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit: PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit in Gandhinagar on the third day of his Gujarat visit today.  On this occasion, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth, WHO DG Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel were also present.  After the inauguration, PM Modi gave his address.  In his address, PM Modi said, 'The possibilities of investment and innovation in the field of AYUSH are limitless.  We are already witnessing unprecedented growth in the production of AYUSH drugs, supplements and cosmetics.  In the year 2014, where the AYUSH sector was less than 3 billion dollars.  Today it has increased to more than $ 18 billion.  So far this year, 14 startups have joined the Unicorn Club.  I am sure that unicorns will soon emerge from AYUSH start-ups.  For this, the government is also working on modernization and expansion of AYUSH e-marketplace.  We are going to make a special Ayush mark.  This mark will apply to the highest quality AYUSH products made in India.  Meanwhile, there is news that the Indian government will soon issue AYUSH visas for people coming to the country for traditional treatment methods.
