 GONGOTRI KASHYAP:

Rajnath said, "India's image has changed a lot.  In the next few years, India will become one of the top three economies in the world.
During his visit to the US, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave a strong message to China.  He warned Beijing in the wake of the dispute over the Ladakh border that it had hit India and would not leave.  Standing on the ground in San Francisco, Rajnath also gave a message to America.
Rajnath recently attended the 'Two Plus Two' meeting between India and the United States in Washington.  He also visited the US Indo-Pacific Command headquarters in Hawaii.  He later attended a function at the Indian Consulate in San Francisco.  From the stage of the event, Rajnath raised the issue of Indo-China conflict on the Ladakh border.  He also lauded the bravery of the Indian Army.  "I can't say openly what the Indian army did, what the government did," he said.  But I can say with certainty that we have been able to send a message to China that it will not leave India.  If India is harmed, India will deal with it. "
The Indian and Chinese armies were involved in a bloody conflict in Galwan in eastern Ladakh in the wake of a border dispute in 2020.  At least 20 Indian soldiers were killed in the clashes.  However, Beijing has not yet officially announced how many Chinese soldiers were killed.  Since then, there have been at least 15 military talks between the two countries to maintain stability on the border.  Beijing and New Delhi have decided to withdraw troops from Pangong Lake and Gogra areas.  But even after that, the tension on the border remained.  Rajnath added, "India's image has changed a lot.  In the next few years, India will become one of the top three economic powers in the world. "
In the wake of the war between Russia and Ukraine, US relations with India have recently deteriorated.  Washington has also recently expressed anger over New Delhi's oil deal with Moscow.  In this context, Rajnath and External Affairs Minister S Jayashankar took part in the '2+2' meeting with the United States.  "If a country has good relations with India, it does not mean that relations with other countries will deteriorate," he said in a covert message to the United States at the Indian consulate.  India never believes in such diplomacy.
