Pinky Haryan... A little girl begging on the streets of McLeodganj in Himachal Pradesh. Whose stomach was filled with the bread he received by begging. Pinky's story begins in the year 2004, when her life took a sudden turn. The family was struggling with extreme poverty .Her parents made a living by begging. However, one day she met Lobsang Jamyang, the director of the Tong-len Charitable Trust and a Tibetan monk.
Jamyang saw Pinky begging and located her house and arrived there. He persuaded Pinky's father Kashmiri Lal to send his daughter to school. Initially, the Kashmiris were reluctant to accept the Reds, but after Jamyang's repeated persuasions, they agreed. Thus Pinky's life changed and she started to become a doctor.
