India Won Gold at 45th Chess Olympiad

Recently, Indian Chess men's and women's teams won the gold medals at the Chess Olympiad held in Budapest. 

The Indian men's team defeated Slovenia with a score of 3.5-0.5 in the 11th and final round of the 45th Chess Olympiad. Simultaneously, the Indian women's team dominated Azerbaijan, securing victory with a 3.5-0.5 margin. Prior to India, only China and the erstwhile Soviet Union had achieved the distinction of winning both men's and women's gold medals in the same edition of the Chess Olympiad.
