Actor and comedian Sunil Grover, who ruled the hearts of people with his famous character 'Dr, Gulati' in the popular TV show The Kapil Sharma Show, is celebrating his birthday today, August  Sunil has entertained the audience sometimes as 'Gutthi' and sometimes as 'Santosh Bhabhi'  Today, he is one of the top comedians in the industry.  But he had faced many difficulties in the early stages of his career.  You will be quite surprised to know that the actor's first earning was just Rs.500.

Born on August 3, 1977 in a small village in Haryana, Sunil had a passion for films since childhood.  He wanted to become the legendary star of the century like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.  When he was in the ninth grade, the comedian's father sent him to learn the tabla.  When Sunil grew up, he wanted to work in theatre.  During an interview, the actor was emotional as he recalled his days of struggle.
He said that,“I was good at acting and made people laugh a lot.  I remember when I was in class 12, I took part in a drama.  Then the chief guest said that I should not participate in the competition because it is unfair to others.  After completing my Masters in Theatres, I moved to Mumbai to pursue acting.  But for the first year, all I did was parties.  I lived in a posh area and was spending money I ordered from home in addition to my savings.  I was earning only Rs 500 even working then.  But then I thought I must be a successful one.'
