Twitter CEO Elon Musk has claimed that former US President Donald Trump will be re-elected president with a landslide victory if he is arrested. In fact, Trump claimed Saturday that he could be arrested as early as Tuesday of next week . He has asked his supporters to protest. Trump said he received a confidential tip from the Manhattan district attorney's office that he could be arrested.
Reacting to the news, Elon Musk tweeted that if this happens, Trump will be re-elected with a huge victory. According to reports city, state and federal law enforcement agencies in New York have been meeting throughout the week on how to prepare for possible indictments in relation to Trump.
Trump, meanwhile, says New York officials are investigating a case involving money paid to some women . He could be arrested in connection with this. The former president allegedly paid the women for sexual favors and asked them not to make the matter public.
Trump said in a post on his social network Truth on Saturday that "illegally leaked" information from the Manhattan district attorney's office indicated that "the Republican nominee and former president of the United States will be arrested on Tuesday of next week."
