Turkiye Syria Earthquake : Turkey and Syria had not yet recovered from the devastating earthquake that struck on February 6 when another devastating earthquake struck the two countries late on Monday (February 20). The magnitude of the quake was 6.4 on the reactor scale.
Monday night's quake caused several buildings to collapse in both countries. According to media reports, in Turkiye (Turkey) where the quake killed three people, while 213 people were injured. Six people were reported wounded in Syria. All of them were injured from being buried in the rubble after the building collapsed. But the earthquake has raised a question in people's minds as to why Turkey is experiencing frequent earthquakes.
