Citizenship rules changed in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabian government has made a big change regarding citizenship in the country.  However, this change has not been done to take away one's citizenship but to give it.  According to the new rules, now children of all women of Saudi origin who have married expatriates can apply for citizenship.
However, the age of the children should be at least 18 years and they should meet all the criteria to get citizenship.  This news is also important for the expatriates of India, because a large number of such Indians live in Saudi Arabia, who have married women of Saudi origin.
According to the Saudi Gazette newspaper, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman has approved changes to Article 8 of the Saudi Arabian Nationality System.  After the change in this Saudi article, "A person who is born in Saudi Arabia and his father is a foreign citizen but the mother is of Saudi origin, then that person can get the citizenship of Saudi Arabia."
However, before getting citizenship, it is very important to fulfill many conditions.  The person who is applying for the citizenship of Saudi Arabia should be well versed in Arabic language.  His character must have been good.  No legal proceedings are going on against him or he has not been jailed for more than 6 months in the past.
