Verified Users Charge on Twitter: Twitter plans to charge $19.99 (Rs 1,647.54) per month for verified users of its users. According to The Verge, company owner Elon Musk has asked employees to implement his plan to start payment verification on the platform within a time frame or leave the company.
It is worth noting that the optional subscription of Twitter Blue for $ 4.99 (Rs 411.27) per month to get additional features of the company, which also verifies those who use it, will now become expensive.
The report states that "Verified consumers will have 90 days to subscribe under the existing plan to keep the blue tick checkmark". Elon Musk has set the deadline to launch this facility till November 7.
It is worth noting that a year ago, those who subscribed to Twitter Blue were provided with many other facilities including reading articles from some publishers without ads. Musk is considering increasing his Twitter membership to cover half of the business's total revenue.
