FATF Restrictions: Russia has suffered a major setback amid the war with Ukraine. The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has imposed tough sanctions against Russia and criticized Russia's attack on Ukraine. FATF President T Raja Kumar said in a press conference on Friday that the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has decided to impose additional sanctions, including barring Russia from current and future projects. Due to the destruction caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the unnecessary loss of lives in the country, Russia has been banned from participating as a member of the Task Force in meetings of the FATF's Regional Partner Body.
Financial Action Task Force (FATF) chairman T Raja Kumar said that the FATF repeatedly condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine. After discussions this week, the FATF decided to impose additional sanctions, including barring Russia from current and future projects and participating in meetings of the FATF's Regional Partner Body as a member of the FATF.
