Hijab Controversy: The hijab controversy that started from Iran is now spreading all over the world. Everywhere people are opening a front against it. The government of many countries is also against it. In this episode, now the Swiss government introduced a bill in Parliament on Wednesday. In this bill, face covering has been banned in public places. Those who violate this will be fined 1000 Swiss francs (about 82 thousand Indian rupees). Be aware that about 5 percent of the total population of Switzerland are Muslims. Last year a referendum was held in Switzerland to ban face coverings. In this, most of the people talked about banning the hijab.
Let us tell you that some countries have already banned the burqa or hijab. In 2011, France banned full face coverings in public places. Similar restrictions have been imposed in Denmark, Austria, Netherlands and Bulgaria.
