Britain's Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday.  She was ill for some time.  Queen Elizabeth II, 96, was currently in Balmoral Castle, Scotland.  Here she breathed her last.  She was the Queen of Britain for the longest time (70 years).The news of her health was revealed on Thursday afternoon.  After that she was under the care of doctors.  The Queen's grandson Prince William was also present with her after her health deteriorated.

 Due to illness, the Queen was living in Balmoral Palace.  She was doing all the official work from this palace.  Britain's new Prime Minister Liz Truss came here on 6 September and met her and took her oath here.
 PM Modi has expressed grief over the death of Elizabeth II.  He said- Elizabeth II will be remembered as a great ruler of our times.  My thoughts are with his family and the people of Britain in their time of grief.
