Former Director General of Police Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta has just taken over as the Chief Information Commissioner of the state

IPS Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta has taken over as the Chief Information Commissioner of the state.Governor Gulab Chand Kataria administered the oath to the Chief Information Commissioner.The 31-year-old retired from the post of Director General of Police (DGP) on January 31 this year.He was appointed to replace Chief Information Commissioner Dr.Ajit Prasad Raut.
