Nagaland has got its first MLA 17 days before the Assembly elections.
Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Kajeto Kinimi won unopposed.
Bharatiya Janata Party's Kajeto Kinimi was elected unopposed from Akuluto constituency 31 after N Khekashe Chumi of the Indian National Congress withdrew his candidacy.
Kajeto Kinimi became the first candidate to be elected to the 14th Nagaland Assembly.
