Actress Deepika Padukone will be given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, making her possibly the first Indian to be honoured with this prestigious honour.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the official body that manages the Hollywood Walk of Fame, shared the news on its official Instagram page on Wednesday night.
The post read, "A new group of entertainment professionals in the motion pictures, television, live theatre/live performance, radio, recording and sports entertainment categories have been selected by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Selection Panel to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."
