Levotobi volcano erupts in Indonesia: 10 dead

At least 10 people have been killed when Volcano Lewotobi erupted at midnight on Sunday in Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki in eastern Indonesia.  The eruption occurred at Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki in eastern Indonesia, producing explosive plumes of lava, officials said Monday (November 4).  This forced authorities to evacuate several nearby villages.
Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki on Flores Island in eastern Indonesia erupted at 11.57 pm on Sunday, Hadi Wijaya, spokesman for the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazards Mitigation, said on Monday.  This resulted in a reddish column of lava, volcanic ash and smoldering rocks.
