The country's well-known writer Suryabala is being awarded the 34th Vyas Samman. KK Birla Foundation said in a statement that the writer is being given the Vyas Samman for 2024 for her novel 'Kaun Desh Ko Vaasi: Venu Ki Diary', which came in 2018. Suryabala, born on 25 October 1943 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, will be presented with a citation and a memento along with a prize money of Rs 4 lakh under this award.
