Noel Tata becomes new Chairman of Tata Trusts

Noel Tata has been appointed as the new Chairman of Tata Trusts.  The decision was taken unanimously at a meeting of the Tata Trust on Friday.  This is according to a report by CNBC-TV18.  Noel Tata is the half-brother of Ratan Tata.  The Tata Trust held two meetings on Friday.  One meeting was held to pay tribute to Ratan Tata and the other to appoint a new chairman.  Ratan Tata passed away late Wednesday night in Mumbai.  His funeral was held yesterday, Thursday.
