The Home Ministry has appointed DGP RR Swain as the full-time DGP of Jammu and Kashmir

The Home Ministry (MHA) today appointed Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain as the full-time DGP of Jammu and Kashmir.  He was holding additional charge of DGP Jammu and Kashmir.  RR Swain is currently holding additional charge of DGP Jammu and Kashmir, AIR Jammu correspondent said.  As per the order issued by the Under Secretary, Government of India, MHA, to Swain from the date of assumption of office till 30-09-2024 or till the next order whichever is earlier, of the DGP of Jammu & Kashmir.
