President Draupadi Murmu awarded Fiji's highest civilian award

President Draupadi Murmu was on Tuesday awarded Fiji's highest civilian award, the Companion of the Order of Fiji.  Murmu lauded the relations between the two countries and said India was ready to partner with Fiji to build a stronger, more resilient and more prosperous nation.

 “President of Fiji Ratu William Maiwalili Katonivere conferred the Companion of the Order of Fiji on President Draupadi Murmu,” the President’s Office said in a post on social media platform ‘X’.  It is Fiji’s highest civilian honour.’’
