Vinay Mohan Kwatra was on Friday appointed India's next Ambassador to the United States.The development was confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs in a statement.Vinay Mohan Kwatra is a retired Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Indian diplomat.He is known to have extensive expertise in dealing with India's neighbourhood as well as the US, China and Europe.
